Ripples Restaurant opening party sends ripples through Whale Beach
When a restaurant says it’s ‘on the beach’ you know it really is when the sand permeates the toes on the way in. Whale Beach, at the northern end of the Northern Beaches Peninsular, is the quieter and more refined sister to the higher profiled Palm Beach just a wave away.
What a fabulous setting this night. With the waves rolling in and the gently sinking sun glistening on the the Norfolk Pines, Sydney’s metropolis seemed an ocean away. Ripples has now added to their fleet of restaurants with the addition of this delightful beach cottage style eatery with it’s wonderful open air feel and charming loft bar.
Predominately caftan clad Ripples Restaurants devotees, friends and locals gathered (with not a Halloween mask in sight) for a relaxed, fun and top notch night and we promised ourselves that as they do ‘breakfast’, as well as lunch and dinner – we couldn’t think of anywhere more enticing on a lazy morning.
