Ladies Day at Royal Randwick to be led by ‘Fashion Spotting’  Jodi Gordon and Nerida Winter. The winner of the Fashion Spotting competition to win$25,000

Jodi Gordon, Royal Randwick Carnival Ambassador, will welcome the return of Spring Carnival at George Main Stakes Day (Ladies Day).  The first day of Spring Carnival at Royal Randwick will see Sydney’s style-loving race goers descend trackside for a day of fashion, laughter and racing fun. 

Style spotters, including Jodi Gordon and Australia’s leading Milliner Nerida Winter, will be on high alert perusing the course handpicking the chicest spring racing fashion.  The winner of the Fashion Spotting competition will take home a Chiva Som and Emirates accommodation package valued at $25,000.

The Yellowglen VIP Bubbly Bar, located on the Oaks Marquee Lawn, will house Sydney’s most glamorous fillies including Laura Csortan, Sami Lukis, Justine Schofield, Caroline Pemberton and Melanie McLaughlin.

For the racing enthusiasts the Group One feature race, the George Main Stakes will be a highlight of the day as well as the Group Two Stan Fox Stakes which showcases emerging track talent.

1.30pm – 2.30pm:   Fashion Spotting – preliminary round
3.30pm:   Jodi Gordon and Nerida Winter to judge the Fashion Spotting 12 finalists
3.40pm:   Fashion Spotting winner announced
