‘Saturdays at Sunset’, Manly Council’s program of free community entertainment, starts its 2009 seasons from Saturday 24 October
This free, family fun program of entertainment is back due to popular demand with our Music, Kids, Body & Soul, and Lifestyle themes performed on the grassed area of Manly Council Chambers Forecourt (opposite Manly Wharf) with a spectacular array of events and activities for locals and visitors of all ages.
The ‘Hula Honeyz’ of the HakaHula Professional Polynesian Dancers perform Hawaiian, Cook Island and Tahitian dances, including the graceful hula ‘Auana, the dynamic ‘Rarotongan Tamure’ and hip-shaking, fast-drumming dances from French Polynesia. Each performance is a showcase of Hula, with slow, fast and contemporary dances.
