Spectacular Christmas Choral Concert in Manly

Andrew Hazzard, Television personality, will be master of ceremonies at the spectacular and joyous 2011 Manly Christmas Choral Concert which gets underway free to the public at Manly Oval on Sydney Road. Special Guest: Santa Claus.

Gather your family, friends and neighbours and join in a mighty musical celebration performed by a massed choir and orchestra, with much-loved carols such as ‘Hark the Herald Angels Sing’, ‘Away in a Manger’, ‘Little Drummer Boy’ and ‘Joy To The World’.

Manly Council has brought together hundreds of singers for this year’s ‘Christmas Choral Concert’ event in what will be a mighty community concert.

“The musical experience will be rich and exciting with much-loved carols such as ‘Hark the Herald Angels Sing’, ‘Away in a Manger’, ‘White Christmas’, ‘The First Noel’ and ‘Joy To The World’.”

“Under the leadership of the Northern Beaches Orchestra conductors, joined by Out of the Blue Children’s Choir and dancers from the Dance North Academy and the Sydney City Youth Ballet performing, the 2011 Manly Christmas Choral Concert event will feature a massed community choir leading the crowd through many popular carols,” said Councillor Hay.

Bring the family, a picnic rug and come along for an exciting, uplifting family friendly event.
