He is one of the most sought after comedians working in the world today, and 2011 sees Danny Bhoy return to our shores with a brand new show to delight his Aussie fans. Early booking is highly recommended!

Well known for his role as Father Dougal McGuire in “Father Ted”, Ardal O’Hanlon first found fame as a stand up comedian when he won the prestigious Hackney Empire New Act of the Year competition in 2004. He is now one of the most popular comedians in the northern hemisphere.

One of the fastest selling performers at the last 13 Edinburgh Fringe Festivals, Jason Byrne makes a return to Australia in 2011. Host of the TV series “The Byrne Ultimatum”, Jason became the first standup comedian to sell over 25,000 tickets at the 2008 Edinburgh festival.

Irish sensation, Tommy Tiernan has won over crowds in UK, Canada, New Zealand, America and Australia and is second only to U2 when it comes to live ticket sales in Ireland.

Ventriloquist and comedian, Nina Conti, has taken the world by storm with her depressed monkey puppet called “Monk”. Winner of the prestigious Barry Award at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival in 2008, Conti debuted a new puppet in 2010 called “Nana”, an elderly Scottish woman with questionable psychic abilities.

Gabriel Iglesias’ high-octane shows are a hilarious mixture of storytelling, parodies, characters and sound effects that bring all of his personal issues to life. Describing himself as “fluffy”, this comedian is sure to cause a stir!

RocKwiz Live, the music trivia quiz show that has developed a cult following since it first appeared on SBS in 2005, makes its Sydney Comedy Festival debut. A mix of music, quiz, comedy, chat and celebrities, RocKwiz Live is hosted by the charismatic quiz mistress Julia Zemiro, with a little help from the firm but fair adjudicator, Brian Nankervis. The RocKwiz Team is proudly putting together a new show for the Festival, but do not fear, all the regular segments from the show that you’ve come to know and love will be featured.

Amos enchants audiences with his almost child-like joy and exuberance, finding the funny side in some of the most unexpected places. This year the talented comedian filmed his debut show, The Stephen K Amos Show, for the BBC2 and will be touring in 2011 with his new show, The Best Medicine.

A jack of all trades, Mark is known not only for his talents as a comedian and his ability to perform endurance 24 hour shows but he has also published three books, hosted his own game show and written his own TV show.  Previously winning The Time Out Sydney Comedy Award for Best International Act at the 2008 Festival, Mark has performed sell out shows across Australia and the UK.
