What’s on at the 2010 Good Food and Wine Show in Sydney
Wine tastings, cooking classes, LG kitchen with chef Darren Simpson, Ilve celebrity theatre with George Calombaris, Gary Mehigan, Pete Evans, Lindt Chocolate Masterclass, Gourmet Garden Cooking School, coffee, kitchen gadgets, hundreds of stalls – its HUGE.

The Good Food and Wine Show in Sydney kicks off on Friday 16th July.  The Show offers three jam packed days of food, wine, coffee and kitchen gadgets with hundreds of stalls showcasing produce from around the world and live cooking demonstrations from Australia’s favourite celebrity chefs. Take a cooking class at the Gourmet Garden Cooking School or take a back seat and dine in at the Show Restaurant for delicious meals served by top chefs! 

Wine tastings of top drops in the free Riedel Wine Theatre or purchase tickets to the extra special Riedel Glass Tasting session to gain insights into premium Australian wines and receive four free Riedel Vitis glasses valued at $299.95! Delight in boutique, regional and international wines in a tutored session with a panel of experts in the Riedel Decanter Bar. Always a favourite, the Cheesematters Masterclass is back again and served up by cheese guru, Naomi Crisante.

Cooking demonstrations in the Celebrity Theatre, brought to you by Ilve, with George Calombaris and Gary Mehigan, as seen on MasterChef Australia as well as Pete Evans from My Kitchen Rules – amongst many more!

Learn how to make and decorate cupcakes in just 12 minutes at the Sunbeam Academ with Sunbeam’s latest gadgets and delight in the perfect coffee making sessions – walk away with your gorgeous cupcakes, freshly brewed coffee and loads of giveaways from Sunbeam.

Lindt Chocolate Masterclasses are new this year.  Don’t miss the opportunity to learn the art of appreciating the finest quality chocolate under the guidance of Swiss-born Master Chocolatier, Thomas Schnetzler.

Australia’s top bartenders will go head-to-head as they make cocktails with real flair and compete for the prestigious national title in the SKYY Vodka Global Flair Challenge. The winner will compete in Barcelona in October!

Darren will be on hand to provide helpful cooking tips on easy home entertaining and to talk about LG’s new product range.  Get inspired to prepare first-class quality food.   Darren  focuses on big flavours to make simple dishes; recipes that anyone can master.  Irish born Darren Simpson can be found serving Italian inspired gastronomies at Sydney’s La Sala restuarant, and was the youngest ever chef to win the UK Young Chef of the Year Award.
