Farmers Markets – country style markets in Sydney for fruit, vegetables, eggs, meat, fish, pasta, cheeses, bread, honey, flowers, herbs and organic produce.
- Every Saturday from 1 May 2010
- Taylor Square Darlinghurst
Fresh seasonal fruit and vegetables (organic and low chemical inputs), free range poultry and eggs, rare breed meats, fish, hand-made pasta, artisan cheeses, condiments, organic bread, olive oil, honey, flowers, and herbs.
A taste of the colour, food and spirit of the country will be on offer on a weekly basis at one of Sydney’s most iconic cultural spaces in inner Sydney.
Beginning on Saturday 1 May, the Market is the initiative of Sydney Sustainable Markets Incorporated, a locally-based not-for-profit association.
Darlinghurst’s Taylor Square and part of Forbes Street, within the Oxford Street Cultural Quarter, becomes a market place every Saturday, offering fresh produce drawn from farmers far and wide.
Forbes Street will be partially closed each Saturday to create a tree-lined passageway to the market precinct.Share
