Mozart in an hour
The choirs will perform the requiem in a special series of concerts in the heart of Sydney’s CBD at City Recital Hall Angel Place from Thursday 17 June – Saturday 19 June.
With the convenience of lunch, early evening and evening performances, music lovers can catch Mozart’s final masterpiece in a lunch break, straight after work, during a weekend’s shopping or prior to dinner at a fine restaurant.
“The Mozart Requiem is among the most personal, impassioned and profound pieces of music ever written and – at just under 60 minutes in length – it can be experienced during that hour when others are fighting traffic or standing in line on train platforms,” said Artistic & Musical Director, Brett Weymark.Share
