Sydney Parties Events Launches Photos this week 4 – 7 September 2012
MiSociety is nothing if not diverse
Sydney’s social slipstream was running at full flow this week and MiSociety was all over town covering a very diverse range of events from taps to shirts to history to cognac and just to top it all off – Harley-Davidsons. Check out all the photos below.
Paco Jaanson goes with the flow – 4 September 2012
Paco Jaanson, the designer supplier of the latest global trends in all things bathroom, threw a VIP Showcase event at ‘AND’ in the Eastern Hotel Sydney. Now if you think tapping into faucets at a party sounds dull this do was anything but. As the drinks flowed and the better than average canapés by the Eastern Hotel were taken up, guests were led on a ‘discovery’ hunt for prizes as a whirling burlesque dancer emerged from a bathtub. Well done the team from umm.. Communications for your creativity here.
T.M. Lewin Party or ‘Where The Boys Are’ – 5 September 2012
T.M Lewin men’s outfitters followed their official opening last week with another party this week. Girls if you wondered where all the smart guys were this night they were all here collecting their gifted shirts and buying up the rest of the store while partaking of some very nice Chivas Regal Scotch and extra special Hunter Valley cheeses. Vogue ‘Threads’ – 6 September 2012
Vogue Fashion Night Out in Sydney tempted MiSociety into stop offs at Ole Lyngguard and the Hermes store party on our way up Market Street heading to Hyde Park Barracks for the launch of History Week 2012.
History Week ‘Threads’- 6 September 2012
History Week this year is labeled ‘Threads’ with historical garments through the ages on show at over 100 events taking place across NSW. The passion of the vintage fashion wearing opening speakers, as the muses outfits were revealed, was enough to encourage not just fashionistas but all to broaden their knowledge on the history and fascinating stories behind Australian wardrobes of the past. Hennessy Artistry -The Global Art of Mixing, at Marquee – 6 September 2012 (at least we think it still was)
MiSociety’s third (or was it forth or fifth) port a call this night was Marquee at Star Casino where Hennessy Artistry had lined up a blend of live music from international and Australian talents. The musical line-up included triple-platinum-selling pop and R&B sensation, Timomatic, Sydneysider ‘Better Dayz’ rapper, Miracle and Malaysia’s finest DJ and ‘Diva of the South’ Eva T. Australia’s wild child and Melbournian DJ, Andy Murphy rounded out the mix.
Hennessy Artistry is all about the blending of musical and artistic talents from different genres and cultures and speaking of mixes Hennessy Cognac creates a mean cocktail with five (or was it six) specially concocted for the event.
Harley-Davidson 2013 model launch with Fraser Motorcycles – 7 September 2012
Fraser Motorcycles at Concord could possible be the world’s largest big boys two wheeled speedster emporium – it’s huge!
Harley-Davidson motor cycles create a sound like no other and this sound reverberated around the car park as leather clad aficionados poured in to drool over the new 2013 models.
Brendan (Jonesy) Jones, proud Harley-Davidson owner, M.Ceed the launch party in front of a crowd that included members of ‘The Brotherhood’ M.C.C. and rising political identity (and former Rose Tattoo front man) Angry Anderson.
Paul Gallen, Rugby League star and newest Fraser Motor Cycles Harley-Davidson Ambassador, agonised to MiSociety over the current major decision in his life - the style and colour of the paint job he should have on his new Harley-Davidson. Also see Harley-Davidson 72 launch
