This year, Sydney’s favourite moonlight market transforms into a unique village fair with a twist! So come down to The Rocks for a night of twists and turns and surprises around every corner!
- Every Friday night in November and December 2011, from 5.30pm – 10pm
The village host will be your guide on a journey through the secret alleys and hidden rooms of The Rocks, where nothing is as it seems. The Village Bizarre will take over the laneways of The Rocks every Friday night in November and December, from 5.30pm – 10pm.
Be enticed by burlesque beauties to Greenway Lane, a tiny theatre of short sharp acts by an intriguing cast of multi-talented characters. Then step inside the Cabinet of Curiosities for a mysterious and intimate performance by characters such as The Arguing Oracle, The Paper Lady and The Living Doll.
Wander the cobbled streets and join in a free hula hoop class, relax in the outdoor lounge or take a daring dark adventure into the dungeons of the past. You can rock out at the silent disco, dance in the streets, or check out local artists and designers at the pop-up stores.
