Manly Council’s ‘Vacation Care’ service is hosting 30 events over the two weeks at its Kangaroo Street Preschool, Manly Child Care & Youth Centre and Seaforth Community Centre facilities. Full details, phone 9976 1486 or see Council’s website at 
Manly Library (9976 1747) and Manly Art Gallery and Museum (9976 1421) are both hosting events suited especially to young people, too.

Manly Library events include…
Special Dad’s evening story time (Monday 5 July 5.00pm – 6.00pm)
Kids, bring your dad, uncle, grandfather or big brother!. A family event – all ages welcome. Phone 9976 1747 during library opening hours.
Flip Books Cartooning  (Tuesday 6 July 11.00am – 12noon)
Work on your cartooning skills making surreal characters Ages 8+ . Phone 9976 1747 during library opening hours.
Robot Craft (Tuesday 13 July 11.00am – 12 noon)
Make a robot (yep, a robot!) from recycled and new materials Ages 5 +. Phone 9976 1747 during library opening hours.
Stuffed Toy Animal Sleepover! (Thursday 15 July 5.00pm – 6.00pm)
Bring your favourite Teddy Bear or stuffed toy animal to join you for a special library story-time. An all-ages family event. Leave your Teddy Bear or stuffed toy animal to for their own special library sleepover! (Don’t forget to bring a pillow and blanket for your friend).
Collect your toy animal (and a surprise) on Friday 16 July. Phone 9976 1747 during library opening hours. Special guest storyteller Aleesah Darlison reads from her new book ‘Puggle’s Problem’
Famous Faces Hunt: July 3 – July 18 during Library Opening Hours.
Hunt around the Library for all the Famous Faces. Great family fun. Collect your competition sheets from the Circulation Desk
Teenage Film & Television School: Join staff from Templar film school and find out about working in films. Wednesday 14 July 11am – 12noon.
Suitable for those in High School and adults too!

Manly Art Gallery and Museum is open free to the public, Tuesday to Sunday 10am-5pm (closed Mondays and Public Holidays).
