Short Underground Films Packing Real Punch
The Sydney Underground Film Festival is about cultivating a community spirit, harbouring creativity and providing outlets for the appreciation of independent and experimental productions and this was in evidence at the launch night at the Art Factory.
The SUFF is the brain child of Stefan Popescu (who bears an uncanny resemblance to another short film entrepreneur) and Katherine Berger. Although the festival is now open to international invitation over half of the selected program is Australian made.
If the preview clips we saw reflect the standard of the films to be shown then we believe Sydney is in for a stimulating time during the festival. More info
