Taste of Sydney Opening Night was held yesterday evening at Centennial Parklands in the VIP marquee to launch the hotly anticipated outdoor foodie extravaganza. 

Over 120 VIP’s attended to celebrate 16 of the city’s most prestigious restaurants and chefs alongside 50 plus food and wine producers and exhibitors.  The Taste of Sydney chefs, including Matt Moran, Justin North, Guillaume Brahimi and Miguel Mastre were on hand to deliver a range of degustation menus, serving up hundreds of sample size dishes.  Justin North’s famous Plan B Wagyu Beef Burger was back by popular demand this year, while the Moran family spit roasted lamb proved to be a popular choice from Aria.  Celebrity guests included Marnie Skillings, Alex Zabotto-Bentley, Lukas Parsons, Iain Dawson and Deborah Knight.

    gee i wish i was a VIP :-) would have been great to try all the food :-)
