Thai Airways is celebrating 50 years of flying across the world and as part of the celebrations hosted a glamorous cocktail party for clients, travel industry personnel, media and friends.
On board ‘Captain’ for the night Andrew Daddo M.C.’d proceedings for the 350 invited guests who enjoyed the unmatched panoramic night views of Sydney Harbour from the Northern End of the Opera House and the flowing hospitality of Thai Airways.
The underlying theme of the retrospective films on Thai Airways 50 year history was their famed tradition of the hospitality and smiling service of the airline’s staff and what stood out at the end of this evening was that Thai Airways had come smiling through. This was an excellent night and we wish we could still be around for their 100th anniversary celebrations.
Thai Airways flies 20 million passengers around the world each year and if you’d like to be amongst them, we’re told there are some extra special deals currently being offered by the airline as part of their 50th Anniversary celebrations.
