Fashion Designers Inside Information Handbook
Fashion Design is on the lips or so many of the people we meet around town. Seems a huge chunk of the young today are budding fashion designers so for this reason we attended the launch of the ‘Fashion Design Manuel 2’ held appropriately at the 2010 ‘Fashion Exposed’ show in Sydney.
Author of this comprehensive book, Pamela Stecker, was on hand to welcome guests including speakers The Honorable Peter Primrose, Minister for Small Business NSW, Richard Paulson, co-founder of the Morrison fashion house and Paul Judge from the Department of Regional and State Development NSW.
This manual sets out the processes involved in designing and producing fashion and is an invaluable guide to design students with loads of ‘nuts and bolts’ insider information from the fashion industry.
Swimwear designer, Kooey, held a small parade of their latest (even smaller) designs to round out proceedings.
