Grab your chopsticks the Sydney Chinese food guide is out for 2012
Food Lovers Guide to Chinatown and Haymarket 2012 was launched by MasterChef 2010 winner Adam Liaw to a jovial crowd of members of the Haymarket Chamber of Commerce and special guests at the Eight Modern Chinese Restaurant, Market City, Sydney.
A Chinese food smorgasbord easily tempted us and all the busy networkers here as many of the movers and shakers from the Haymarket area mingled and chatted. The opening speeches culminated in Adam Liaw’s enthusiastic and taste tempting evaluation of the diversity of Asian food available in the Haymarket area.
Chinatown in Sydney is one of the foodie crowd’s favourite eat destinations for Chinese favourites like steamed dumplings and chilli crab to Malaysian, Indonesian, Japanese and Uyghur food.
The Food Lovers Guide to Chinatown and Haymarket 2012 is a pocket-sized guide listing Chinatown’s top restaurants, bars, teahouses and bakeries for Sydney’s chopstick wielding diners and visitors to our harbourside city. In 2011 more than 80,000 copies of the guide were printed in both English and Chinese.
The 2012 Food Lover’s Guide to Chinatown and Haymarket guide can be picked up free of charge from information kiosks, libraries and community centres from mid-December and at Sydney Chinese New Year Festival events in January and February.
