What more fitting surroundings in Sydney could there be to showcase the ‘The Royal Collection’ Fabric & Wallpapers by Designers Guild than at the British Consul General NSW private residence in Sydney?
Designer of the collection Trisha Guild was invited by the British Royal Family to create a new range of fabrics and wallpapers inspired by those used in the Royal Palaces of England. Trisha has created a fabulous range that melds the ‘traditional’ with ‘contemporary’ in home furnishings using the very finest of fabrics and we can tell you they are absolutely stunning.
As each swatch of these extraordinary furnishing fabrics, cushions and wallpapers was displayed ooos and ahhhs emanated from the select group of invitees from Vogue Living, Australian design houses and some very fortunate others.
While sipping Pol Roget Champagne by the pool we chatted with our hosts for the evening the newly arrived British Consul General of NSW, Richard Morris and his wife Alison who are truly delighted to be in Australia for the next four years.
