So you think you can hair style?
Toni and Guy’s Global Collection 2011 launch at Doltone House in Sydney featured a mini musical that was a huge production. Sounds a bit curly? The show was actually very well produced with some high energy dancing and singing.
The storyline for the show was about living in a repressed society (complete with Nazi style troopers) and where everyone has the same hair. The hair do’s became magically transformed into all colours and styles that defied the earth’s gravity. The show featured a cast of 15 dancers from ‘So You Think You Can Dance’ and ‘Australian Idol’ along with songbird Katy Wren.
Anyone who was anyone in the hair biz strutted their stuff at the after party where many of the elaborate hair styles were let down as the crowd partied on with Australian band Amy Meredith.
