Urban Stone, four piece Sydney rock band, are putting the hard work and real talent back into Australian rock music
- Wednesday, 22nd August 2012
- Tokio Hotel Darling Harbour’s Cockle Bay Wharf RSVP to attend
The tight band have been working hard at their craft for more than five years, which has seen them take out the number 1 spot in the country in 2007’s Global Battle of the Bands, going on to place 7th out of 3,000 bands in the world final.
Urban Stone’s strong work ethic and real, raw talent brings a breath of fresh air to the heavily commercial “rock” bands of today.
“The four of us met as friends and it was our shared passion for and dedication to our music that brought us to form Urban Stone”, says the band’s guitarist, Dan Skeed, “we have all worked hard and we’ve enjoyed success along the way, but we are now ready to see the fruits of our musical labour really take off!”
This coming Wednesday, 22nd August, you can experience Urban Stone’s energy on stage, at music hot spot, Tokio Hotel, on Darling Harbour’s Cockle Bay Wharf. The band will be performing their own original work including their first single “Not Ready For Goodbye” from their highly anticipated, upcoming EP.
