Sydney Light Show Turns On
Sydney is exploding in a festival of light, sound and art and the launch of ‘Vivid Sydney’ at the Overseas Passenger Terminal, opposite our iconic Opera House, flicked the switch for this Events NSW innovation.
With a ‘New Years Eve’ style countdown by The Hon. Virginia Judge MP the crowd held it’s collective breath as the Opera House sails came alive under a myriad of kaleidoscopic light and images. Wow.
Even the OPT was decked out in it’s best electronic outfit for the night with an entire wall of dazzling lights sending out information on ‘Vivid’.
Vivid Sydney is the umbrella name for the biggest international music and light festival in the Southern Hemisphere.
So if you are wondering what all the fuss is about and you would like to see Sydney in a different light you can start your journey here.Share
