VIVID Light – The Vivid Sydney light show will stretch from the Sydney Opera House all the way around to Dawes Point and continues in Walsh Bay.

The Lighting of the Sails – Sydney Opera House will again be a prominent feature of VIVID Sydney. In 2012, multi-award winning German collective URBANSCREEN will transform the Sydney Opera House with their reinterpretation of the sails. The work will explore the iconic sculptural form of the Opera House as well as its place as a home for music, dance and drama, resulting in a work that is both sophisticated and spectacular.

Customs House – The Electric Canvas returns to Customs House continuing to raise the benchmark for large scale projections with another stunning state-of-the-art 3D-mapped projection.  This spectacular night time event is a must see as it transforms the sandstone building of Customs House into an amazing morphing installation from 6pm every night during the VIVID lighting festival.

Light Sculptures – Sydney will transform into a colourful playground of light and come alive with interactive light art sculptures, giant glowing dandelions, fibre optic sea grass and animatronic dancing lamps.  A giant digital game of Tic Tac Toe, and a modern spin on Hopscotch, golden flocking birds, head turning digital puppies and luminous wings.  The ultimate tension release, have a good old fashioned shout at the installation Screaming Rapture. 6pm to midnight every night!

Hit the town and enjoy a free light show with over 50 interactive and immersive light art sculptures, illuminated skyscrapers and large scale projections around The Rocks, Circular Quay, Sydney Opera House and Walsh Bay.
