Wahroonga Food & Wine Festival Sunday 27 October 2013 further details below
Wahroonga Food & Wine Festival kicked off with a special evening of excellent food, wine and company
Lounge1047 hosted the launch of the new Wahroonga Food & Wine Festival with a staggering array of canapés provided by Sam Graziani and his skilled team. The food was stunning with Italian cured meats and a delicious array of accompanying vegetables and cheeses – very Italialiano! Sheep Sheep wines, Drayton’s Family wines and Casama Group’s Catalina Sounds, Ninth Island, Nanny Goat and RockBare provided the delicious wines that flowed freely.
Mayor of Ku-ring-gai Jennifer Anderson was amongst some 80 guests at the function that also included Councillor Christiane Berlioz, media, sponsors, winemakers and participating local businesses to celebrate this new Festival in the upper north shore.
Guests relaxed ate, drank, ate, chatted, ate as the sun sank and the lights came up with no-one in any hurry to leave the congenial surroundings – well done and delicious.
