Waves of migration is a nightly animation on the rooftop of the Australian National Maritime Museum depicting stories of migration to Australia

Australian National Maritime Museum Sydney has had it’s iconic roofline turned into a animated show evoking sails and waves and has become the canvas this summer for a dynamic new light show exploring migration to Australia and the compelling stories of those who’ve come across the seas. From convicts and early settlers to Ten Pound Poms, displaced persons and seaborne refugees, Australia is a nation of migrants.
