ECCO®, the Scandinavian shoe brand, is to create fashion history as it attempts to break the record for the World’s Longest Catwalk.

Mia Freedman, celebrity author and writer, will host the chic and fashionable extravaganza where ECCO® will publicly unveil its Sculptured 65 collection and showcase key pieces from its Spring/Summer 2012 collection.

World’s longest catwalk will see men and women from all walks of life make their modelling debut on a custom-built runway around Sydney’s spectacular Darling Harbour in a bid to smash the current World’s Longest Catwalk record of 2,297m. The incredible feat will demonstrate ECCO® shoes’ ability to go the distance in comfort AND style, mirroring the brand’s philosophy.

Attendees will also get an Australian first look at ECCO®’s high heel evolution – The Sculptured 65. This revolutionary range of 65mm heeled shoes gives style-loving women unprecedented comfort from morning-till-night.

Project Runway 2011 winner and’s Sydney Insider, Dylan Cooper, will be strutting his stuff on the World’s Longest Catwalk along with ECCO®’s ‘Be A Model for A Day’ competition winners and a whole host of other participants.
